How should I clean my hammock?Answered By Haydn Taggart - Hand Washing Tie the hanging rings of the hammock together. In a big sink or bathtub, dip the hammock into the water with a mild detergent. Never use any bleach. Using your hands, stir up the water until the hammock is completely clean. Once you are done washing, untie and unfold the hammock carefully. Hang the hammock and spread it out to dry. - Machine Washing Tie the hanging rings of the hammock in order to avoid the metal rings from entangling. Then, put it in a pillowcase and tie it closed. Make sure that you tie them carefully and securely. Use only mild detergent to wash. Do not use any bleach in washing your hammock. Once washing is done, remove the hammock carefully from the pillowcase and untie it.
